once you have a character that has decided on a path and steps irrevokably through the first door on it
that's when you start the story
before that its all fuzzy possibilities
then clarity strikes and so much amazing stuff can happen
its just like life
once you have a dream, everything changes
thats when you start having a story instead of just being washed along
